Performers’ Thanks

The performers that you’ll be enjoying are, in some ways, much like our School Museum’s artifacts.
I don’t mean artifacts by the standard definition though.
Many of the artifacts in this museum are out in the open, up close and personal. They tell a story in their presentation. They have the richness and depth of real-life experience. They’re not enclosed and defined by a display box. This museum is heritage outside the box.
The performers here today open their thoughts, experiences and emotions to us through their talents. This is music for real life. Up close and personal, with stories crafted in music with richness and depth. These talented people create music and performances outside the box. Many thanks and blessings to them for donating their time and talent to Spring Fest.
So, dear patrons, enjoy this day and evening. Enjoy their music, give them a hug and buy their CDs. But please don’t call them an artifact unless you know they’ve read this first.

Naomi Kikoak ~ Spring Fest ’09 CoOrdinator
